After a 2020 marked by COVID followed by restrictions and very few races, it's time to start the 2021 World Cup this weekend! The first race will be hosted in Albstadt, Germany. It´s competition time!
After a very successful pre-season, the PMX Racing Team will start the Mercedes-Benz UCI Mountain Bike World Cup this weekend. Everyone in the team is excited to get off a good start at the first WC race of the season. Australian champions Bec and Dan McConnell as well as Jofre Cullell and Francesc Barber have focused their preseason on this first World Cup race. The time has come.
Although it is true that last season was difficult and the final results could have been very different if the season had followed a regular calendar, it seems that for this 2021 the competition will return to a relative normality. Thus, the start of the World Cup was marked in the riders’ calendar, so the desire to see how they are prepared, makes the expectations high for this first race.
