Mondraker Factory Racing XC is back home at Mondraker HQ. Once again, the team gathered in Alicante to to recharge batteries, using the visit as both a formal team presentation and the operational starting point of the new season.
Alicante is Mondraker’s home base and is central to development activity. It is where the bikes are designed and tested, and where the sporting year begins with a structured training camp in the province. The focus during this period is performance preparation: on-bike training sessions, many, many miles on the bikes, equipment set-up and bike set-up. This is also an important time to get the team together, working together and communicating, all without the pressures, yet, of the World Cup calendar.
Mondraker is sticking with last year’s line-up, led by Sergio Mantecón, because there’s no point fixing what isn’t broken.
Mona Mitterwallner, Sebastian Fini, Luke Moir, Tamara Wiedmann and Alejandro García Vázquez form a roster with established World Cup experience and proven results at international level, and they’re hungry for more.
