You’re just a few clicks away from unlocking the most powerful ride you’ve ever experienced on an ebike. The new Crafty Carbon range as well as the newly updated Level, both equipped with Bosch’s new CX Gen 5 motor (BDU 384Y), are now over-the-air upgradable. That means you can update them directly from the Bosch eBike Flow app without leaving your home.
This updated Bosch CX has the same 85Nm of torque and 600W peak power as the previous model but offers far better power delivery and control. Motor noise is reduced while pedalling and coasting, and mechanical rattles when riding downhill have been eliminated altogether.
The CX’s new software and electronics, together with the improved kinematics of the new Zero Suspension System, mean the Crafty Carbon offers improved performance in all conditions and on all terrain types. The new motor also boasts reduced drag when pedalling above 25km/h
Crafty Carbon range has a possibility to fit both the 800Wh or 600Wh batteries. R and RR models feature the new 800Wh Bosch batteries as original equipment and the more sophisticated RR S, XR and RR SL models are fitted with the lighter 600Wh version. Both batteries have been completely upgraded and optimised with the new generation of 21700 cells with higher energy density which, in combination with the new hardware and software improvements of the new Performance CX Bosch motor with renewed electronics, provide improved efficiency with longer battery range and a much lower weight compared to the previous generation. More kilometres, more fun.
All models and frame sizes of the Crafty Carbon offer Powermore range extender compatibility. An extra 250Wh to extend your range or to conquer that last gnarly climb, it’s easily fixed to the main bottle mount on the downtube. Weighing in at around 1.5Kg it’s light and easy to carry either on the frame or in a backpack.
The reduced system weight of the motor and 800Wh battery combined results in a 500g weight saving compared to the previous generation Crafty with the 750Wh battery.
The Crafty Carbon R and RR come fitted with the 800Wh battery for greater range, while the RR S, XR and RR SL models come with the 600Wh version to keep the weight down. That said, the batteries are removable (and interchangeable) via a quick-lock system.

As with the recently released SLY, Crafty Carbon now comes in 5 different sizes thanks to the addition of an ‘ML’ option.
A standout feature is the incorporation of two different chainstay lengths dependant on frame size. Chainstay length has a significant impact on how a bike handles, and gone are the day of one-size-fits-all. By having two different chainstay lengths we can keep the same ‘feel’ of a Crafty Carbon regardless of frame size. Forward Geometry is thus optimized by adapting chainstay length to frame size. The S, M, and ML sizes get 455mm chainstays, while the L and XL sizes grow by one centimetre to 465mm, ensuring that regardless of frame size the ride ‘feel’ stays consistent throughout the range. Crafty Carbon is our first bike to offer two different chainstay lengths.

The new design is also one degree slacker than the previous generation of Crafty Carbon, making the 2025 model more stable at speed. As well as the new 64.5° head angle, the new frame also comes with a two-position (standard and low) flip chip on the lower shock mount which means you can modify the bottom bracket height by +/- 0.5mm and the seat and head tube angles by +/-0.35° to better suit your style or terrain type.

La bicicleta en general está muy bien. La relación calidad precio está muy bien. El detalle que creo que se podría mejorar es el tipo de enganche que lleva la tija para agarrar el sillín. Hace un poco de ruido y de vez en cuando se mueve lateralmente. Por lo demás está muy bien.

Nel complesso una buona bici. Avrei solo da segnalare degli aspetti che, secondo me, andrebbero migliorati, visto il costo della bici: -Il motore risponde con ritardo alla richiesta di assitenza, secondo me, dovuto al fatto di avere il magnete sulla valvola, sarebbe meglio una ruota fonica. - le pedivelle hanno la vite di fissaggio che si svita nel senso della pedalata(!!!), al primo utilizzo ho perso la pedivella sinistra. Una volta sistemata con frena filetti, il problema si è ripresentato nuovamente.

La bicicleta de enduro eléctrica me ha sorprendido muy positivamente. El sistema de suspensión ofrece un gran rendimiento, absorbiendo de manera eficaz y transmitiendo mucha confianza en terrenos complicados. En las curvas de estilo enduro destaca por su agarre, lo que la hace muy divertida y estable al mismo tiempo. Como punto de mejora, echo en falta una mayor personalización en los ajustes para afinar aún más la experiencia de conducción, así como la posibilidad de montar rueda delantera de 29” para quienes prefieren esa configuración.
