What a race! We came, we trained, we sprayed the champagne! How else to start the season than by getting on the podium! Dakotah Norton has taken 4th place in the 2024 DH World Cup season opener from Fort William and Rónán Dunne finished in 11th place.
It’s a wrap on the first weekend of the 2024 DH World Cup and we’ve got loads to celebrate. Dakota Norton’s final run was really strong and consistent and won him a fourth place on the podium, taking the hot seat from Rónán Dunne who finished in 11th place overall. Ryan Pinkerton was just one second off a place in the final.
More really good news was Heather Wilson’s victory in the Junior Women’s category riding for the Muc-Off Young Guns team on her factory SUMMUM RR SL. Good feelings, some champagne and impatience for the next round in Bielsko Biala, Poland, in a couple of weeks’ time.
