"Ce qui me définit vraiment, c’est mon ambition. Je suis capricorne (signe du zodiaque et ascendant), quoi que je fasse, j’essaie vraiment de faire de mon mieux. J’aime : Je veux faire tout ce que je peux pour gagner. Alors, quand les gens se sentent vexés si je vérifie les choses deux fois ou si je pose beaucoup de questions, c’est juste moi qui suis moi, qui suis précise et qui essaie de minimiser les erreurs. Je suis dure avec moi-même et dure avec mon entourage, mais cela portera ses fruits quand je franchirai la ligne en premier. Et tu seras au sommet si travailles très dur. C’est ce que je crois vraiment."

Personal Background & Identity

Where did you grow up, and how has your hometown shaped who you are?

I grew up in Tyrol, in the heart of the mountains. This influenced my personality, my riding and me a lot: I love to be in the mountains and climb a mountain with my bike every training I do.

Is there a personal mantra or philosophy you live by?

If you want to reach what no-one else reached before, you have to do things that no-one else did before.

How would you describe your riding style in three words?

Ambitious Enduring Flow

Do you have a pre-ride or post-ride ritual that’s important to you?

Pre-ride I always calibrate my cranks and do Qi-Gong, after I always do foam rolling

What do you love most about the MTB culture and community?

The spirit and possibility to give one’s best

Lifestyle & Hobbies

When you’re not riding, how do you like to spend your time?

Reading, cuddling my cat, baking, cooking, spending time with my loved ones

If you had a free weekend to do anything, how would you spend it?

Days in the mountains, with a good book in the sun afterwards and a nice dinner

If you could design your dream bike, what would it look like?

It would be a Pac-Mona bike

What’s the weirdest or funniest thing that’s ever happened to you while riding?

Hmm, probably when I was riding with my dad and the trails were super slippery after the rain. The roots played me out and I was hanging down in between a bridge and a hole…and my dad was laughing instead of helping me and at some point I joined the laugh. Life lession? Takenit with humor.
