Based on our top-of-the-range F-PODIUM RR SL, with design and graphics mirroring the minimalism of the new SID Ultimate/Luxe FA, the UNLIMITED combines state-of-the-art suspension performance with our cutting-edge frame. The evolution of our Zero Suspension System, mated with RockShox’s updated Flight Attendant takes the suspension capabilities of the F-Podium to previously unimagined heights.

THE BEAUTY OF WIRELESS

F-PODIUM UNLIMITED Flight Attendant is the starting point for a new design language to be implemented throughout our XC range. The option of controlling suspension characteristics wirelessly blows open the doors to a truly minimalist cockpit that, together with our frame design, the RockShox Crush Blue / Carbon / Pure White race inspired paint-scheme and RockShox’s latest tech, makes for something truly special. 

FLIGHT ATTENDANT MAKES THE BEST DECISIONS

RockShox Flight Attendant is a fork and shock technology which makes use of an algorithm to switch automatically, and almost instantaneously, between three ride settings: OPEN for maximum shock absorption, PEDAL for grip while pedalling and LOCK for maximum pedalling efficiency; all without the clutter of cables, completely wireless, and almost instantaneous. The unreal speed at which the system reacts to changes in terrain is what makes the F-PODIUM Flight Attendant so efficient and, as a result, very fast.


F-PODIUM Flight Attendant makes predictive switches between three different suspension settings: Open, Pedal and Lock. What’s more impressive is that the algorithm learns over time, analysing your rides, your riding style and the terrain you usually ride on to make smarter, more personalized adjustments to the suspension. In controlled tests, when compared to a rider switching between settings manually, this system made riders on average 1.8% faster. That’s a 96-second advantage in a 90-minute race.    


ADAPTIVE RIDE DYNAMICS LEARNS FROM YOU

To better personalize suspension settings to the way you ride and your local terrain, F-PODIUM Flight Attendant is linked to the Adaptive Ride Dynamics app. This app compiles data on previous rides, calculates which sections of the trail will be high-intensity and continuously updates this data while you ride.
PREDICTIVE AND ADJUSTABLE

Flight Attendant is predictive. It uses information provided by the rider and information on the terrain to predict what’s coming. Flight Attendant is adjustable. You can change “Bias” settings to choose the suspension position the system will trend towards and how quickly the system reacts. Bias settings can be modified in a range from “-2” to “+2” where lower Bias settings prioritize comfort and traction and higher Bias settings prioritize efficiency and power transfer. 


When pedalling, Flight Attendant will make decisions that move the system towards a firmer suspension setting, and when coasting Flight Attendant returns the system to an open position for a more consistent trail feel. What’s more, the fork and shock work independently to better react to what’s going on at either end of the bike at any one time.

Configuration of Flight Attendant can also be carried out through the SRAM AXS app. You can choose between 3 modes: Automatic, Manual and Overrride. “Automatic” lets Flight Attendant make the decisions for you and adjusts the suspension independently between Open, Pedal and Lock. “Manual” lets you choose the mode either by using the buttons on the top of the fork stanchions or by the AXS remote. ‘Override’ locks the suspension into just one of the three modes, thus deactivating automatic mode.
