MONDRAKER ARID

OUR GRAVEL BIKE LINEUP JUST GOT EVEN BIGGER

Try something new.

Ride solo or join that group that’s always ahead of you, kicking up the dust. If you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em. Take a break from mountain biking. Or maybe don’t. Mix it up with gravel and finish a 200km self-supported race on endless trails. Or just lose yourself in the woods for the weekend. Build a fire, and if you catch something, cook it for dinner. Do it your way, but do gravel. The Mondraker way.

Smooth as silk.
Smooth as silk.

That’s the best way to describe the welds on the new Mondraker Arid. The kind you run your fingers over and instantly know it’s about more than just good looks. Thanks to Smooth Welding technology and hydroformed tubing you get better vibration damping, reduced stress on the aluminium, and a far more comfortable ride over the chatter.

For the tech-head riders out there. Smooth welding technology prevents overheating during the welding process. By maintaining a more balanced welding temperature, it eliminates inconsistencies in the stiffness of affected areas, making the frame’s response more predictable under stress and tension. This also allows for controlled flex in key areas without compromising durability. Altogether, these features enable the new Mondraker Arid frame to absorb terrain vibrations more effectively.

Shimano vs. SRAM. Friendly rivals. No drama.

Mondraker Arid S with Shimano GRX or Mondraker Arid R with SRAM Apex AXS. You choose. They’ve got the same frame, the same carbon fork, even the same components including the wheels. Even the drivetrains are nearly identical, both with 40T chainrings, except Shimano runs 12-speed (10-45) while SRAM is 12-speed (11-44).

Up to 6 bottles (just in case).

You’d have to be desert racing (or something) to want six water bottles on your Mondraker Arid, but if you want to, you can. Whether you're really giving it some in training or off out on a week-long adventure, the Mondraker Arid has plenty of mounting points (even on the fork and top tube) so you can keep everything in place.

Oh, and for those of you who live where mud is a thing, we didn’t forget you. You’ve got mudguard mounting points too!

Up to 50c, of course!
Up to 50c, of course!

The experience we’ve gained from nearly 25 years of building world-class mountain bikes has taught is that when it comes to gravel riding, bigger tyres bring more comfort, more fun and more control. That’s why you get to decide. You can stick with the stock 45mm tires or go wider if that’s your thing. Everyone has their own take on gravel riding, and we don’t want a lack of grip to hold you back from yours.

Mondraker Arid, up close and personal.

We’ve already mentioned the Stealth Alloy EVO frame and the carbon fork with up to six mounting points, but there’s more: We’ve routed the cables internally from the headset for a clean, race-ready look. We also included moulded rubber frame protectors (just because it isn’t carbon doesn’t mean it doesn’t deserve some love). And let’s not forget the stiff, efficient BBT47 threaded bottom bracket.

Let Mondraker Arid adapt to you, no matter your size.

Five sizes, with handlebars and stems tailored to each. Simple, yet effective. Just like the carbon model, the new Mondraker Arid comes in five sizes, including an ML to give you more options than ever before. As mentioned, the handlebar width and stem length come relative to frame size, so you’ll feel right at home the moment you hop on. And, we’ve routed the cables internally through the headset, the better to keep everything clean and tidy and to keep maintenance headaches to a minimum.
