Back in the ‘90s the streets were just as much our playground as the countryside was. Before skate parks became the norm in every neighbourhood, and before bike parks and pump tracks had even been dreamed of, riding your mountain bike on the city streets was about as normal as breathing.
Join the generation of the ‘90s, CRAFTY CARBON style, through Richard Gasperotti’s new series. Sit back, relax, and enjoy CONCRETE: The ‘90s, asphalt and urban culture.
True to our DNA. Our ZERO Suspension System totally reworked. Made for hardcore tracks. Fun, speed, design. No sacrifices. No compromises. We’re ahead of the game. Join our evolution. Introducing the new F-PODIUM. DO THE EVOLUTION
Benchmarks are passed as time goes by and keeping abreast of change implies embracing adaptation and evolution. The F-PODIUM has been reworked to keep setting benchmarks, both at grass-roots level as well as at World Cup events. More reactive overall while providing better acceleration and feedback from your very first pedal stroke, the F-PODIUM improves your performance whether you’re out training mid-week or racing at the weekend.
Andrew Dodd has to be one of the most well-known MTB personalities in the world. Known to most as ‘Doddy’, Andrew’s been working in the MTB press and communication sector for more than 20 years. As chance would have it, he started out working for the world-famous Mountain Biking UK magazine in 2001… the same year Mondraker was born!
If someone mentioned Jakub Ouvín in a conversation you probably wouldn’t know who they were talking about, but if they said “Bib Buba” we’re sure that name would ring a bell. The popular Czech presenter, actor, content creator and video editor has been a part of the Mondraker family for a couple of years now and shreds an F-Play 24 like no other. Jakub knows more than most about overcoming challenges and not letting them get in his way, and as it’s been a while since we last had a chat, we thought it was about time to catch up and find out what he’s been up to and how things are going with his riding, and his F-Play 24.
The CRUSHER is an enduro bike with 29” wheels, 150mm of rear wheel travel complimented by a 160mm fork, Shimano’s EP801 motor and an integrated 720Wh battery. Featuring 2.6” tyres and forks with burly 38mm stanchions on all three builds, the CRUSHER is aimed at aggressive enduro riding and long days in the saddle.
Mondraker CRUSHER. STOP AT NOTHING
It’s time to give it everything we’ve got. We want to be popping the champagne, and we want to be doing it from the top step of the podium. From the 8th – 12th August the XC World Championships will be in Glentress Forest, Scotland, and the PRIMAFLOR-MONDRAKER-GENUINS team won’t be holding back because... We’re going for the stripes!
The 2023 DH World Championships are here and the MS MONDRAKER TEAM wanted to get in the mood with a little celebration.
It’s been two decades since Markus Stöckl first took charge of the international DH team and everyone here at Mondraker wanted his anniversary to be a bit special, so we created a SUMMUM UNLIMITED commemorative edition just for him to represent the last 20 years of blood, sweat and glory.
A new beginning. A new era of ebikes. Born and bred with all of our character, identity and feeling. A Mondraker by definition, but more manoeuverable, nimble and even faster than ever before. A new cycle with a new leader. Please everyone, stand up and welcome the NEAT.
Three years ago, we started a project with a mission. Just one. To create a new generation of ebikes that would redefine the current concept of mountain biking. A new category which would enhance the very best version of yourself as a rider, to make you faster, everywhere. Powerful yet silent. Stable yet agile. A mission we dubbed NEAT and which has led to the first Light e-MTB in our history.
With this model we’re opening the doors to a new category with the TQ-HPR50 motor, an integrated removable 360W battery, a full carbon fibre frame and a ready to roll weight of under 18kg. Mission accomplished. Now it’s your turn.
Mondraker NEAT. A NEW CYCLE.
Mondraker’s riders and ambassadors are just wired differently, and Richard Gasperotti isn’t the exception. It looks like riding down 6 active volcanoes earlier this year just wasn’t enough to keep him happy for long and now he’s turned his hand to the raddest, and maddest, of circus tricks (together with his CRAFTY CARBON R). The world famous “Wall of Death”, a kind of hall sized wooden barrel which motorbikes ride around the inside of, is what’s caught his attention this time around. Imagine trying to ride an endless wall ride two or more meters off the ground!
Another year, another Val di Sole, Italy, for the 2023 World Cup. It was the fourth round of XCC and XCO, and the third round of the DH season. A weekend that brought new, tougher and even more demanding tracks than in previous years. For the PRIMAFLOR-MONDRAKER-GENUINS and the MS MONDRAKER teams the weekend played out very differently and with very different results.
The Dusty SX is here. Our lightest URBAN CROSS model is going to get you around faster than ever before. What you do with all the time you save is up to you. Work less and enjoy your weekend rides more? Why not! At least from now on you won’t need two bikes when one DUSTY can do it all.
ONDRÊJ CINK MAKING HISTORY FOR MONDRAKER
Third round of the XC World Cup and second round of DH in Leogang, Austria, and we already have the first podium of the season. Ondrêj Cink gets his first podium in the XCO race. A third place that also means the first in history for the PRIMAFLOR-MONDRAKER-GENUINS in the men's XC World Cup competition.
The second event of the XC World Cup held last weekend in the Swiss town of Lenzerheide, has left us with Ondrêj Cink with a final tenth place in the XCO and a 19th in the XCC on Friday. Cink was always riding in the leading group, recovering several positions in the last few laps until he reached the final tenth position. Bec Henderson on the other hand, finished Friday's XCC in tenth place, while in the XCO she didn't quite find the pace to finish in 24th position.
The Swiss resort of LENZERHEIDE is hosting this weekend’s 2023 Downhill World Cup opener, and the MS Mondraker team will be there giving it their all on their Summum prototypes.
Brook Macdonald, Tuhoto Ariki, David Trummer, Toby Meek and Kilian Schnoeller will be sending it down the 2.5km track, affectionately called ‘The Straightline’, all of them aiming to get the season off to the best start possible. Disappointingly for everyone, Eleonora Farina will be watching from the side-lines with a broken collar bone.
This weekend Lenzerheide is opening the first of the 8 races which will make up the 2023 World Cup DH season. Starting in Lenzerheide, the series will then be moving on to Leogang, Val di Sole, Vallnord, Loudenvielle, Les Gets, Snowshoe, with Mont-Sainte-Anne wrapping things up in October.
It goes without saying that here at Mondraker we don’t believe in limits. But, sometimes there just has to be an exception to the rule! When starting a new project, we always have a plan, something specific we want to achieve, and we follow it through with passion, dedication and unlimited creativity. With the new CRAFTY CARBON UNLIMITED ELECTRIC BLUE, we had just one plan, to create 50 incredible, individual, exclusive bikes. So that’s what we’ve done.
The first round of the XC World Cup kicked off last weekend in Nové Město, in the Czech Republic with a wet and slippery track keeping the riders on their toes. The Primaflor-Mondraker-Genuins team didn’t get the start to the season they were looking for with a man down in the form of Ondrêj Cink, who unfortunately spent the whole weekend too unwell to compete. That left Bec Henderson to fight through an eventful race to take home an 8th place in Sunday’s XCO.
In DH everything boils down to a question of numbers. 0.2 seconds late on the brakes and you’re off the racing line. 10mm off the racing line and there’s no grip. 2 clicks more rebound damping and your suspension will start packing down. Keeping those numbers under control may mean the difference between the podium or the pits. If you like winning, or you just want to improve your riding, you’re in luck. Our MIND telemetry system is now available on the SUMMUM CARBON, because the winning numbers are the ones that count.
Some collaborations were only ever a matter of time. That’s the case with the collab between Mondraker and ALBEK, Australia’s most renowned bag brand. Both have very similar styles and philosophies in terms of a passion for quality and design with a focus on performance, resulting in one of the most attractive and functional series of bags and backpacks available this season.
Everyone chooses a different path for their MTB riding experiences. That might be riding a 100mm full suspension XC bike, or an enduro ebike, or perhaps a carbon trail bike like the RAZE CARBON. They’re all different ways of reaching the same goal: The “perfect” MTB experience.
The CRAFTY and CRAFTY CARBON are ebikes designed to turn your rides into something more than just route following on a GPS unit. A CRAFTY equals versatility and capability on whatever technical terrain you come across thanks to its 150mm rear wheel travel and a 160mm fork (170mm on the XR version) on the front.
