We went all-in on the development of ARID, employing our arsenal of technology to access and amplify that most prime and emotional of feelings… the joy of simply riding a pushbike. The gravel category can be a wonderfully exciting sport for newcomers or a refreshing return to their origins for people who’ve been riding full suspension bikes for decades. Technology really can reactivate your senses, and we couldn’t be happier to have made it possible.
We’ve really gone to town on the details. ARID has HHG internal cable guidance, a UDH derailleur hanger for stiffness and shifting precision, six water-bottle mounts you can use to various ends, and generous frame and fork dimensions for up to 50mm wide tyres for riders looking to tackle the roughest of terrain. The bike also features the all-new Mondraker ‘Carry-On’ downtube storage system so you can carry your belongings without the need for packs that would otherwise spoil the looks of your ARID.
Try something new. Ride solo or join that group that’s always ahead of you, kicking up the dust. If you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em. Take a break from mountain biking. Or maybe don’t. Mix it up with gravel and finish a 200km self-supported race on endless trails. Or just lose yourself in the woods for the weekend. Build a fire, and if you catch something, cook it for dinner. The new aluminium framed Mondraker Arid shares the same identity, geometry, and design as the Mondraker Arid Carbon. They feature the same fork, multiple mounting points, internal cable routing and versatile performance, no matter how you interpret gravel riding.
