The second event of the XC World Cup held last weekend in the Swiss town of Lenzerheide, has left us with Ondrêj Cink with a final tenth place in the XCO and a 19th in the XCC on Friday. Cink was always riding in the leading group, recovering several positions in the last few laps until he reached the final tenth position. Bec Henderson on the other hand, finished Friday's XCC in tenth place, while in the XCO she didn't quite find the pace to finish in 24th position.
Lenzerheide also marked the start of the DH season with the first round of the World Cup. David Trummer was finally unable to participate due to back problems, while Toby Meek, also injured, did not participate in the semifinals and Kilian Schnoeller did not reach the final.
Those who did find the rhythm to reach the finals were Brook Macdonald and Tuhoto Ariki. Brook finished 25th, while Ariki finished 17th.
Despite the fact that the results in Lenzerheide in both categories have not been very positive, with the exception of Cink's Tenth place, both the MS MONDRAKER and the PRIMAFLOR-MONDRAKER-GENUINS will have another opportunity this weekend in Leogang, Austria, to fight for the top positions and the podium.
