MONDRAKER FACTORY RACING XC MAKES ITS MARK IN BRAZIL WITH FIRST WORLD CUP PODIUM OF 2025

Brazil. Araxá. Two weeks, two World Cups.

"This has been a very special event"

Under the leadership of Sergio Mantecón, the team showed a strong sense of unity and top-notch vibes across both riders and staff — a key factor in achieving these early, promising results.

“This has been a very special event. Not just for the results, but for the work ethic and commitment that drive us every day,” said Sergio after the second round.

Standout Results:

XCO (Olympic Cross-Country):

• Women’s category: Tamara Wiedmann – 5th place | Mona Mitterwallner – 20th place

• Men’s category: Sebastian Fini – 16th place | Nadir Colledani – 32nd place

XCC (Short Track):

• Women’s category: Mona Mitterwallner – 22nd place | Tamara Wiedmann – 25th place

• Men’s category: Nadir Colledani – 34th place

Tamara’s 5th place in Araxá marks the team’s first-ever elite-level podium finish — and she earned it in spectacular fashion, clawing her way back from 33rd on the grid to finish inside the Top 5 in round two of the Brazilian double-header.

Next Stop: Europe

With the first rounds done and dusted, the team now shifts focus to the European block of the calendar. The experience gained in Brazil lays down a solid foundation to keep building through the upcoming races in Nové Město, Czech Republic (May 23–25), and Leogang, Austria (June 5–8).
