We love to surround ourselves with pros, and not just the ones who design our bikes, but the professional riders who put them through the wringer at each and every World Cup race too. As in other years, the PRIMAFLOR-MONDRAKER-GENUINS riders paid a visit to our head offices here in Elche recently to get their bikes, and bodies, set up for the upcoming start of the season.
Focusing on the XC and XCO World Cups that will be kicking off the 2024 season in Sao Paulo, Brazil this coming 12th April, the whole team minus Bec Henderson (who’s racing in, and winning, her first races of the season) spent a few days at Mondraker’s facilities to fine-tune themselves and their bikes.
For four days the whole team, from technical staff and mechanics to team manager Fran Pérez, enjoyed our facilities here in Alicante. They toured the production line as well as the design and products departments and had our product development managers help them set up their new bikes.
They spent the majority of their time getting the new F-PODIUM RR SL they’ll be racing on, as well as the PODIUM CARBON RR SL, set up perfectly; especially as the F-PODIUM is rocking the recently released and much heralded Flight Attendant system from RockShox.
Flight Attendant is the brand-new, totally wireless suspension system from RockShox which controls the SID and SID Deluxe suspension fitted to XC bikes such as the F-PODIUM. It automatically selects between the OPEN, PEDAL and LOCK functions depending on terrain and rider preference. As well as using the AXS remote control to switch between modes while riding, riders can also fine-tune the characteristics of each mode through SRAM’s AXS app.
