Born from one of our most adaptable mountain bike models, the CHASER, this 'X' version inherited its forebear’s capability on the dirt but adapted to meet the brief of what an outstanding “daily-driver” urban machine needs to be. Able to get around on any surface or in any environment, it offers the responsiveness, speed and safety of a mountain bike but refocused on an urban setting.

THE ORIGINThe CHASER X comes with all the heritage and identity of our highest performance mountain bike models yet designed with a focus on daily mobility. It’s still more than capable off road too.
Both models in the range, the CHASER X and RX, have 150mm of front wheel travel and 140mm of rear wheel travel which provide comfort, pedalling efficiency and more than enough shock absorption to deal with whatever obstacles you encounter on our trips, whether they be on a workday or at the weekend.
Looking to maximise the versatility of use of the CHASER X we designed a STEALTH EVO aluminium frame to exceed the requirements of an urban bike. Both the CHASER X and RX come with full mudguards, a rear pannier rack (rated for a load of up to 25kg), front and rear lights, and a direct mount kickstand on the left chainstay as standard equipment.
What’s more, to greater aid efficiency whether on asphalt or dirt, the CHASER comes with 2.6" Maxxis Ikon tires that guarantee grip on all types of surfaces and a high level of comfort thanks to their generous volume and diameter. Both wheels are 29".

All together a combination of both natural and man-made obstacles that show just how capable the geometry of CHASER X is, as well as how well it absorbs the bumps, brakes and accelerates when you need it.
As a part of the 2023 Urban Cross range the new CHASER, in both X and RX versions, comes equipped with a Bosch Performance Line CX G4 motor. The top-of-the-range CHASER RX model comes with Bosch’s Smart System, the new System Controller device integrated into the top tube, the Mini Remote wireless remote control and the Kiox 300 external display. The battery on this model is rated at 750Wh.
For 2023, the Urban Cross models fitted with 625Wh batteries as standard also come with Bosch’s Smart System. The CHASER X model has a 625Wh battery, Bosch’s Kiox 300 display and Bosch’s LED Remote control.
The new CHASER X range is perfect for people who want a bike for commuting as well as for family and leisure trips without sacrificing the fun riding off-road. Its mountain bike heritage, its generous suspension travel, its FORWARD GEOMETRY and its 2.6” tyres all provide far more comfort and safety than a conventional urban ever bike could on road, with the added bonus of knowing you won’t be caught of your depth on mountain tracks or bridleways if the fancy takes you.
The power of Bosch’s Performance Line CX G4 motor together with the range provided by either the 625Wh or 750Wh batteries offers you a far more dynamic and effective way of getting around, putting you ahead of the rat race before your day has even begun.
The CHASER X also opens the door to anyone who’s been waiting to take the leap to owning their first full suspension e-bike. Its versatility coupled with the power of the latest generation Bosch motor and more than enough range to deal with any type of trip are ideal attributes for your first stray into the world of electric bikes, free of the limitations posed by more urban specific models.

URBAN CROSS
The entry-level model, the CHASER X, comes with RockShox suspension (a Recon Silver RL 29 fork), SRAM’s SX Eagle 12 speed drivetrain and DB8 brakes, and Bosch’s Performance Line CX G4 motor and 625Wh Powertube battery. Standard equipment includes mudguards, a pannier rack, and front and rear lights.
URBAN CROSS
CHASER RX sits at the top of the range and features RockShox suspension (a 35 Silver TK29 fork), SRAM’s SX-GX Eagle drivetrain and DB8 brakes, an ONOFF Pija dropper seatpost with up to 170mm of travel (depending on size) and Bosch’s Performance Line CX G4 motor with a 750Wh Powertube battery, System Controller on the top tube and Mini Remote. Standard equipment includes mudguards, a pannier rack, and front and rear lights.
