In DH everything boils down to a question of numbers. 0.2 seconds late on the brakes and you’re off the racing line. 10mm off the racing line and there’s no grip. 2 clicks more rebound damping and your suspension will start packing down. The MIND system was developed 100% in-house here at Mondraker. It’s a revolutionary, unprecedented Smart Telemetry System which stands out from other systems currently available thanks to its real-time integrated and wireless monitoring of the front and back suspension while you ride. Totally wireless and with the measuring devices integrated into the fork and rear suspension, the data they provide is on hand via the myMondraker app on your phone, tablet or PC.

The arrival of MIND technology to the SUMMUM CARBON R and RR was only a matter of time. We’ve added MIND to the arsenal of tech on the SUMMUM CARBON: STEALTH AIR CARBON, ZERO SUSPENSION SYSTEM and FORWARD GEOMETRY. Telemetry has been fundamental in DH for many years now but was out of reach for the majority of racers. You can’t underestimate how important it is to know how your suspension is working at all times if you want to get the most out of your bike. The SUMMUM CARBON is one of the ranges that most stands to gain from the support of a system such as MIND.

Now, thanks to MIND you have all the data regarding what your suspension is doing whether it be on sections of a track or whole race runs. You’ll know at all times how much travel you’re using front and back, how often you’re in the air and for how long and how far, suspension compression on take-off and landing, plus graphs showing suspension travel, altitude and speed during the run.

TOTAL INTEGRATION WITH YOUR FORK AND SHOCK.

The incorporation of MIND to the SUMMUM CARBON comes with all of the principal elements 100% integrated. The front sensor is neatly integrated with the fork. Built into the front mudguard it takes advantage of the FOX 40’s threaded mudguard mounting points. The sensor detects the field from a magnet which is housed in the lower part of the steerer tube and takes readings of the relative distance between the two 100’s of times per second while on the move, thus recording the travel and speed of the fork accurately and constantly. The MIND system for the SUMMUM CARBON is only compatible with the FOX 40.


This sensor also serves as the head-unit for the system from which all the data from the ride is sent to the myMondraker app via Bluetooth.


The rear MIND device is located on the top shock linkage of the ZERO SUSPENSION SYSTEM and works in tandem with a magnet which is fitted to the pivot bolt. Together they generate all of the data regarding rear suspension performance and send it to the head unit located on the fork. 

ANALYSE YOUR TRAINING SESSIONS AND RACES WITH THE MYMONDRAKER APP

Via the myMondraker app and your personal Mondraker account on your smartphone, tablet or PC you can monitor all the parameters offered up by MIND regarding your bike’s suspension action as well as its location thanks to the built-in GPS sensor.  


All of your data including your weight, low and high-speed compression, low and high-speed rebound, and the preload pressure settings on your FOX 40 are to hand in your profile and serve as a set-up guide from which you can make changes depending on your riding style or the demands of the track you’re on. What’s more you have tons of useful information you can take advantage of such as distance travelled, time, altitude gain, if and where you bottomed out, and all the data about your time in the air.
