RENOWNED MTB JOURNALIST AND PRESENTER ANDREW DODD IS JOINING OUR RANKS

ANDREW DODD

Has to be one of the most well-known MTB personalities in the world. Known to most as ‘Doddy’, Andrew’s been working in the MTB press and communication sector for more than 20 years. As chance would have it, he started out working for the world-famous Mountain Biking UK magazine in 2001… the same year Mondraker was born!

FOXY XR 2013

It was as a print journalist that Andrew cut his teeth testing hundreds of bikes over more than 13 years, and it was there that he first rode the 2013 FOXY XR, which seems to have caused quite an impression: “The FOXY XR had such a dramatic impression on me that it completely changed my perceptions on MTB geometry at the time. This bike is very special to me and I still have it”.

His competences also include a great knowledge of photography from his years in print and digital media, and of course most of you will know him from his work in the last few years as an online video presenter.

All of the experience gained in international communication, plus his photography skills, video expertise and content creation are facets that Doddy is going to contribute to the next step of his career here at Mondraker. He’ll be aiming that knowledge at our upcoming YouTube channel (more on that soon) as one of his many roles in the company.

Here's what Andrew has to say about joining us here at Mondraker, “I have spent my career to date essentially promoting mountain bikes and mountain biking, and I’ve loved every second of it but I’ve always loved the idea of working for a bike brand.
