The 2021 XCO World Cup begins!

Albstadt

After a 2020 marked by COVID, restrictions and few races, it's time to start 2021 World Cup this weekend! The appointment is in Albstadt, Germany. Races are coming!

After a very successful pre-season, the PMX Racing Team will start the Mercedes-Benz UCI Mountain Bike World Cup this weekend. Everyone in the team is excited to get off  a good start at the first WC race of the season. Australian champions Bec and Dan McConnell as well as Jofre Cullell and Francesc Barber have focused their preseason on this first World Cup race. The time has come.

High expectation

Although it is true that last season was difficult and the final results could have been very different if the season had followed a regular calendar, it seems that for this 2021 the competition will return to a relative normality. Thus, the start of the World Cup was marked in the riders’ calendar, so the desire to see how they are prepared, makes the expectations high for this first race.

The schedules for the races are:

  • - XCC Short-Track Women's and Men's: 7th May, 5:20 pm
  • - Women's XCO Final: 9th May, 11:00 am
  • - Final XCO Masculina: 9th May, 14:15 pm

The Short-Track and Elite Women's and Men's races can be followed Red Bull TV.
