Bec and Dan McConnell continue their preparation for the upcoming international events by competing in the third round of the MTB Superprestigio in Elda.

 After a few intense weeks of racing, including the second round of the World Cup in Nove Mesto where Bec finished third on the podium, she returned to competition this weekend winning the Elda Superprestigio MTB, Alicante.

 It looked like she wouldn't take part in this race after these last few demanding weeks in Europe. Finally, she decided to compete and it couldn't have gone better. On a Sunday marked by bad weather, the race was finally held without rain and Bec won without too much trouble. This is another victory after having won the first race in Tibi, just after arriving from Australia. In this way, Bec proved that her race level is at its highest.

 On the other hand, Dan also took a creditable second place in a hard race under the rain. After suffering an initial problem that caused him to lose a few valuable positions, as the laps went past, he managed to finish second. A very good position that shows that Dan is getting better and better on his bike.

 Undoubtedly, this kind of race keeps Bec and Dan at the top of their game for the next important races of the season.
