LENZERHEIDE!

THIS WEEKEND THE WORLD CUP RETURNS TO...

After the halfway point of the season, the World Cup in both XC and DH is here again. An important race to measure the performance level from the leader Bec McConnell and the promising Eleonora Farina, and hopefully expecting an improved performance from the rest of the Mondraker riders.

PMG RACING

Bec McConnell is still the leader in the overall standings of both XCC and XCO, with a good fistful of points over her rivals. The Australian must put in a strong performance if she wants to continue leading the championship and to be in serious contention of being the overall winner this season. From the start of the season, she proved to be the strongest rider until the last round, being Leogang one the most demanding races of the calendar. Despite this, she crossed the finish line in a very respectable 7th position in the XCO final, which makes her a strong contender to finish in the top spot in the final standings.

On the other hand, Jofre Cullell, who has been chasing a top 10 finish since the start of the season, will be doing his utmost to ensure that the good performances he has shown in some of the season's races finally materialize in a good final result.

Furthermore, Francesc Barber and Marta Cano will try to put in a good performance in their respective races after their good results last weekend at the European Championships.

MS MONDRAKER

In the last few World Cup appearances of the MS Mondraker riders, Eleonora Farina has been the one who has delivered the most solid performances. The Italian has achieved two podiums this season, finishing 3rd in Leogang, and we hope that in Lenzerheide she will be able to fight for the desired victory.

In the men's category, David Trummer (Silver at the European Championship), Tuhoto-Ariki, Brook MacDonald and the surprising Jacob Dickson who will try to improve their results. David and Jacob are showing that they are getting better and better as the season progresses, putting in some impressive performances which we hope they can replicate or even improve for the upcoming races, with Lenzerheide being the next one this weekend.
