PETROPOLIS, FIRST RACE OF THE XCO WORLD CUP 2022

The moment of truth has arrived. After the pre-season, Petropolis in Brazil will be the opening venue this weekend for the 2022 World Cup.

The long-awaited moment has arrived. The XCO World Cup is already underway, and the PMG Racing Team will be at the first event to showcase the great preseason the team riders have had. Both the recent Australian and Oceania Champion, Bec McConnel, as well as Jofre Cullel and Francesc Barber, who will be making his debut after participating in numerous UCI Junior Series events, will be in Brazil fighting for a good performance. We are sure that the three of the PMG Racing Team riders will fight until the finish line giving their all in this first event of the year where they will face the best international XCO riders.

The opening venue for the 2022 XCO World Cup is 4.5 km long and 200 meters total vertical gain. Very demanding both physically and technically, it has plenty of hot spots, including drops worthy of any top-level DH or enduro race. The show is guaranteed.

Therefore, at the Brazil World Cup we will be able to see how all the riders have been working during the preseason.
