Les Gets was an important date for the PMX Racing riders. In just 20 days we will enjoy the most important event in the last 4 years: the Olympic Games in Tokyo. The MS Mondraker Team went to the second round of the DH World Cup. In both cases, the heavy rain clearly conditioned both races.
PMX Racing Team
As it happens in every XC World Cup races, the races started on Friday with the explosive Short Track. Important to get a good starting position for Sunday's XCO race, Bec qualified 17th, Jofre Cullell 30th and Dan McConnell 35th.
Sunday dawned with a heavy rain that didn't stop during all day. Although Bec started in 17th position, she was in the leading group from the start. She was riding in second position for part of the race and finally crossed the finish line in 5th position, which meant that she was back on the podium for the third time this season. With this final position, Bec is in 5th place overall.
On the other hand, in the men's race Jofre Cullell was 33rd, while Dan reached the finish line in 67th position.
